Cheez-its and Vodka Tasting
When arriving at our good friend Geneva’s place on the night of Friday, Nov 7th, I knew it would be a fun night, but I really had no idea what type of night to expect. Laid back, hardcore partying , reminiscing about WSU, gossiping about friends, staying in and drinking, going out and drinking, both, etc… Upon our arrival, we were presented with a 2-part gift! The first of which was 2 very nice Wazzu beer glasses. The second half of the gift was for Mari… a box of cheez-its and 2 zucchinis… interesting… so it turns out Geneva has mad gift giving skillz… I think?
We were given the tour of Geneva’s FOUR story townhouse and soon others began arriving. And so we drank… took pictures… posed with buddha… drank… took more pictures… talked nonsense… drank… TASTED VODKA out of tiny wine glasses (about 5 varieties if I recall, but can’t remember most of them), played an impromptu game of quarters (but instead of quarters… pennies, nickels, dimes and even cheez-it’s were used). I guess anything goes when you are in Spokane and the Cheez-it’s were a big hit with the group… drank more… played a game called Apples to Apples (fun one)… drank a little more… and by this time it was starting to get a little bit late.
After all this, we headed to the bar to continue the night. It was a fun night out and I even got kicked out of a bar, woot. More on that in the next post. The night was definitely a good start to a good weekend in Spokane.
Shout outs to: Geneva for having us and the excellent gifts, Remi for the Vodka tasting, Celeste for being my teammate, Becky for being a librarian and everyone else for a good time.

I can’t believe you started your “Spokane” blog. So are you guys coming through town on your was to MT for Thanksgiving? Bring the dog!
Thanks for the…shout out? I’m hoping that you will keep this up. You and Mari should stop by on your way home from Montana! Then it will be more than “that one time.”
